Job Description Our client is a supplier of ingredients primarily sold to the following industries: Food, Nutrition, and Pharmaceutical. We are looking to hire a Marketing professional, who has who has at least 2 years of marketing experience with a producer or distributor of products in the food, beverage, CPG, or nutritional supplement industry. Overview of Responsibilities: Lead Management a. Vet incoming sales leads. Prioritize, qualify, and assign new leads in a timely manner based on a variety of defined and undefined criteria to aid sales with new business acquisition. b. Track lead advancement and coordinate with Sales Representatives as appropriate. Sales Support & Analysis a. Pre-meeting support: perform analysis of perspective client’s product portfolios and strategic focus. Prepare presentation and marketing materials to support sales meeting objectives. b. Develop new customer target lists based on product portfolio. c. Develop and maintain key customer profiles to identify decision makers d. Assist sales with various reporting and forecasting responsibilities Communications Management a. Print Media: Manage and execute corporate and brand advertising and communication strategies across a wide range of print publications b. Digital Media: Support existing and construct new digital media strategies across a variety of digital platforms c. Social Media: Structure and execute a new B2B social media strategy Market Insights & Research a. Competitive analysis: stay informed about competitive products, changes in the competitive landscape, and new product launches - and share developments with the team to inform decision making. b. Market trends: review relevant market news within the food & supplement industry as it pertains to current and prospective product lines. c. Develop and maintain market insight reports for internal and external communication Trade Show Management a. Work with internal and external resources to manage and execute company marketing presence at key industry trade shows (2-4/year) Education & Skills: A college degree and 2-4 years of marketing experience is required. Travel: Less than 10% of the time Tools/Software: - Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook) - Customer relationship management CRM software — Salesforce - Market Insights software - Innova - Ability to learn and master new software as required Excellent company, well established, strong core values, entrepreneurial, hungry, motivated, and competitive.
